Samsung introduced two variants of its products in the Indian market. Corby is a TV and Metro TV. As the name implies, both phones are equipped with new features that allow users to watch live TV or record TV content.
TV applications, called MimobiTV Mobile TV, which was developed by Apalya, a provider mobileTV Indian origin. CorbyTV have a design like Samsung's touch or Samsung Corby Genoa. Meanwhile, Metro appeared in a regular candybar concept, with multimedia navigation panel on the front. Through Apalya, two new mobile users this Samsung TV content streaming will be treated to more than 40 channels.
For business features, Samsung CorbyTV going to pin a 2.2-inch screen resolution 320x240 pixels (QVGA), OMH support, 2MP camera, FM radio, Bluetooth and microSD card slot. Meanwhile, Samsung Metro besides stuffed MimobiTV also supported 2-inch screen, 2 MP camera, Bluetooth, FM radio, microSD card slot, mobile tracker and 9 regional languages of India.
Based on preliminary information, CorbyTV would be released into the market of about USD 2 million. And, Metro dibanderol approximately USD 1.5 million.
