Want to be different, Nokia Not Want 'nyemplung' on the Tablet PC segment


The success of the Apple iPad gush inspire many other vendors proved to nyemplung in the same business. Consequently in 2011, these vendors as smartphones or a PC is experiencing 'a fever tablets', where together they flooded the market tablets with various models and platforms.

Surprisingly, in contrast to the vendors who have entered in this segment, Nokia up to now seems to still not interested to play in this segment of the tablet PC.

It was none other, because the famous Finnish mobile phone vendor is still considering a lot of things to make the tablets are better and special.

Nokia through its CEO, Stephen Elop, as quoted PULSAonline via wmpoweruser, said the company is now working hard to make something (tablet PC) are different.

"We have more than 200 tablets on the market and only one of those who have done very well. My challenge is, I do not want to have a tablet to 201 in the market that do not differ from the others." Elop said.

And with the establishment of an alliance between Nokia and Microsoft, Nokia adopt the OS could be created by Microsoft, as Windows 7 for example.

However, Nokia seems to still be ripe to consider the OS that will later be embedded in tablets. Moreover, the flagship Nokia wants tablet looks different from other existing tablet on the market.

For reasons explained earlier, it looks like a tablet made by Nokia will not be present in the near future.
