Hold Affle, Telkomsel launches SMS2.0 Live

Telkomsel in collaboration with Affle, a global mobile media company, today (05/18/2011) launched SMS2.0 Live service, an upgraded version of previous SMS2.0 platform.

This service is claimed will substantially improve the user experience of sending and receiving SMS with a variety of interesting features, such as background color, text color, and a variety of emoticons.

"The sophistication of SMS2.0 Live services equipped with the latest features and attractive, we expect to form the solution to customers in doing shipping and receiving of short messages (SMS) more attractive. Presence of SMS2.0 Live service is one of our efforts to continually provide value to our customers in the form of Telkomsel's innovative products and quality. "Said Nyoto Priyono, VP of Mobile Advertising Management Telkomsel.

Parties Affle through its CEO Anuj Kumar claimed that SMS2.0 Live service has been hugely successful in Asia with more than 4 million users. Not only that these services also grew nearly 10-15000 users per day.

"Given the Indonesian consumer habits in using the SMS and social media, we are confident that this Live service SMS2.0 will get a huge hit in Indonesia." Anuj Kumar added.

SMS2.0 Live services can be enjoyed handset users with system operasinal Java, Symbian, and others. Going forward, SMS2.0 Live users will also be able handsets enjoyed by other platforms, such as BlackBerry, iPhone, and Android.

To enjoy this service, users must first download Telkomsel SMS2.0 Live application, in the following way.

Type SMS with: SMS2 send to 9089 (SMS rates: kartuHALO USD 125, simPATI USD 100, and Kartu As Rp 88)
Customers will receive a reply text message from 6789 that contains a link to get the application SMS2.0Live
Customers can download a variety of applications by accessing the link (free download fee)

After the application is successfully downloaded, customers can connect with thousands of friends on Facebook and Twitter using SMS2.0 Live. Access to social networking functions contained in this service allows subscribers to SingTel to update on Facebook and Twitter status whenever and wherever located.
