Samsung and Visa recently announced their plans to realize the latest innovation in payment technology as part of their sponsorship at the upcoming London Olympics in 2012.
To realize the idea, as quoted PULSAonline via Engadget, at least more than 60 thousand sites in London are prepared to implement the payment system 'contactless'.
With this partnership allows consumers to use the facilities 'mobile payment' (NFC) which is provided from a mobile device and Paralimpic Samsung Olympic Games.
Samsung's mobile device would eventually come to treat the activated SIM card with the Visa and will be available to the athletes and there are also some retailers.
As electronics vendors are always innovating, Samsung is already showing leadership in the technology 'mobile payment'is. It was seen when Samsung first launched one of the NFC-featured mobile phone in France in 2010. Followed later by launching the Android phone and NFC-enabled Bada.
