Meltemi, Linux Platform Replacement Candidates for Nokia S40

Nokia reportedly develop the S40 platform replacement candidate. According to unnamed sources as reported TheRegister, said that Linux-based platform that has the names touted as the Meltemi.

Interestingly, after being referred to as a mere issue, but after the Wall Street Journal reported, related news that Nokia is developing a new platform (Meltemi) was said to be as accurate news. In fact, sources in TheRegister also gives confirmation about it.

Based on the memo that circulated, it was mentioned that the Meltemi will serve as a rich platform for feature phones, and will be developed at its development center in Ulm, Germany.
