Develop Applications, RIM Give Scholarships At ITB Students

A total of 30 students of Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) received a scholarship from the BlackBerry smartphone manufacturer, RIM (Research In Motion). Mobile Computing research fellowship program is intended for mobile application development on the BlackBerry Innovation Center ITB.

The scholarship covers tuition fees referred to in ITB as well as financial incentives for research during their studies at the BlackBerry Innovation Center ITB. While specific to post-graduate students are entitled laptops and BlackBerry smartphones.

So far there are 8 scholarships had been given, which is to Masters and PhD level students. This year, there will be an additional 10 students and 12 students of Master Degree final level will receive the scholarship. Later, in addition to following the curriculum organized by ITB, each scholarship recipient will also receive a BlackBerry application development training.
