Microsoft Just Gives Mainstream Support 4 Year for Surface User

Nearly a month after its release, Windows RT does not have an official policy support. Although Windows RT officially released almost a month ago on Surface and processor support from OEM partners, but Microsoft is still silent about the support policy for Windows RT.

But not anymore. On his official web page section 'support', Microsoft said it would provide support to the Surface for 4 years. Little wonder. Because usually Microsoft provide support for consumers and businesses that use Windows for 5 years. Even businesses received additional support for 5 years thereafter.

As is known, Surface using Windows RT is a combined package that works differently from other devices. Microsoft finally declare support for 'mainstream' until 11 April 2017. This means that after 4 years there will be no additional support for ordinary users.
